Bring the pH DOWN with Pool & Spa pH REDUCER.

Dealing with algae and cloudy water in your pool? Are you using chlorine at a faster rate than normal? This means that the pH of your pool is too high! The pH should lie somewhere between 7.2 and 7.6. If the pH of your pool is higher than 7.6, you need Pool & Spa pH Reducer to lower the pH of your pool.

This pool pH reducer makes treatment and maintenance easy and safe for everyone involved. Use this granular sodium bisulfate formula instead of muriatic acid to:

- Correct cloudy water

- Stabilize chlorine effectiveness

- Protect pool motors and equipment

- Prevent hard water scaling and algae buildup

- Re-establish ideal swimming conditions

Directions: Test your water's pH with a water testing toolkit. If the pH of your pool is greater than 7.6, figure out how much acid you need by using the chart on the product label (or the chart provided on this Amazon page). For example: you'll need to add 2.50 lbs. of dry acid to reduce the pH of a 20,000 gal. pool by .2 pH points .

After measuring, slowly add the dry acid in the deepest part of your pool. Use a pool brush to disperse and distribute the dry acid evenly until it disappears. Wait three to six hours before retesting and/or swimming.
