The U.S. Solid ½" brass motorized ball valve comes with a simple two wire system, and a vital auto return function. It is a great option for any industrial or home automation projects. The stem and body of this valve are made of a sturdy but cost effective brass.
The valve actuates with 9V to 24V of power, and opens fully in 3-5 seconds. This valve is normally closed (N/C). This means that when the power source is removed, the valve will automatically return to the closed position. This provides a great fail safe, depending on your application of the valve. When fully opened, only a negligible amount of power is drawn. This is key, because it means the valve can be plugged in continuously without risk of overheating...EVER!
