40 visual communication cards are 2"x 2'in size,printed on 24lb lazer jet paper,then laminated on 5 mil. thick laminating sheets
These cards can be re arranged or taken out according to your need. They are on a 1.5" book ring , then fixed onto a black retractable badge holder. This holder extends up to 34", giving the user an opportunity to keep it clipped on a waistband and extended when employed while still maintaining space if needed.
These cards are large enough to be seen at a distance yet discreet enough to carry on your person at home, school, appointments, or out and about in the community.You will notice that I have included a transparency of a red "X". This is a very helpful tool that I have used throughout my years in education to achieve effective communication.
If you know that the person you are communicating with has a specific fixation with an activity, and the desired activity isn't always an option, you can place the transparency in front of the card when it isn't available and remove it when it's a choice. I have illustrated it's use in a few of the photo
