Power:sensor powered by 4AA alikaline batteries(not included) which can last for 2 years for family use. The batteries should be installed in the control box. You have to prepare 4AA batteries in advance.

Water type: for cold only bathroom, you just connect the faucet to the house supply pipe. For cold and hot water bathroom,you have to connect the water mixing valve(included) to adjust water temperature.
