You can wash your rigid portable vac 4 gallon filter after use and reuse it. Poweka recommends gently rinsing the filter with water and letting it air dry completely before reinstalling for use.

How long to change your filter?

With use, your filter may become clogged with dirt and debris, and your vacuum performance and airflow may suffer. To get optimal performance out of your vac, it's better to replace the filter at least twice a year with average use.

How to install the Ridgid shop vac VF3500 filter replacement parts? 

Step 1:

Push down on the Qwik Lock stud and lift the pliable filter tabs to remove the dirty filter.

Step 2:

Slide the new or cleaned filter back on the filter cage.

Step 3:

Push the flexible cap down to lock the filter in the stud and secure the new or cleaned filter in place.
